TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Ozra Mahdavikia claimed a gold medal at the Women's 1500M T12/13 at the 2018 Asian Para Games on Monday.
The Iranian runner finished in the first place with a time of 00:05:16.65.
Indian Venkatesh Radha came second with 00:05:17.65 and Mitsuyo Matsumoto from Japan won the bronze medal with 00:05:17.98.
About 3,000 athletes with disabilities from a record 43 countries and territories are taking part in the games that opened in the Indonesian capital on Saturday.
The Asian Para Games will run through October 13.
